You read that right. Kitchen Sink Studios is going abroad in 2026!
While she was in pastry school in Paris, Emily took a trip to Normandy that left a huge impression on her—as a baker, an artist, and lover of artisan food. In October 2026, Kitchen Sink Studios is saying “à bientôt!” to the United States and venturing across the Atlantic for our first ever international experience, retracing the steps that Emily took along the famous Cider Route. We’ll visit artisans making calvados, cider, cheese, butter, and bread; tour some of Normandy’s beautiful villages; bake traditional French pastries; practice photography; and enjoy chef-prepared meals and aperitif in our beautiful countryside maison.

We’ve reserved beautiful cottages in the countryside of Normandy for this adventure. The property features three traditional guest houses with modern amenities, a vegetable garden, a fire pit, and a badminton court.

We’ve teamed up with experienced tour guides to plan a well-balanced week of tours with local artisans, excursions into charming villages, and plenty of down time to relax in between!

We are organizing transport from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. That’s day 1! We’ll have 5 full days together until we head back to Paris on the morning of day 6.

Like our domestic retreats, attendees will be offered a single room rate or a double room rate. Pricing is all-inclusive, including airport transportation, room and board, food, wine, excursions, our driver for the week, tours, workshops, and meals out!
